The Brief: In addition to designing the RIP101 website, ensure that the website is SEO friendly.
The Client: RIP101, an online store selling clothing, accessories and boarding hardware from 100 of the world’s top surf brands.
The Project: As co-founder of RIP101 I designed the website. It was important that the new website was search engine friendly.
RIP101 SEO (SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION)
The Result: Optimising content at brand, category, line and even individual product level was of paramount importance at RIP101. ‘Quiksilver Cypher Shorts’ was the target key phrase. The Cypher is a popular range of seasonal Quiksilver shorts. Potential customers would gather information from the designed and optimised landing page.
Additionally, tech-specs, benefits and special signature series models information was relayed through text, graphics and video. Underneath this informational content were the current Quiksilver Cypher shorts available as well as links to all of the other board shorts produced by other brands. As a result, the page enjoyed position #1 on page 1 of Google in the natural listings.
