The Brief: Design and deploy the Mission Atlantic website.
The Client: Team Atlantic are 4 Guernsey women (Paula Evemy, Kathy Tracey, Sarah Day, and Lois Rawlins-Duquemin). They embarked on one of the most difficult and gruelling rowing races in the world. Together with the bare essentials, they spent months at sea and covered 2,950 miles in difficult and dangerous conditions. Consequently, they were the first women team of four to complete the Atlantic crossing.
The Project: Web Design Guernsey recently designed & launched the Mission Atlantic website. As a result, the new site explained the challenge, attracted corporate sponsorship and during the race provided updates on the girls’ progress.
The Result:The Mission Atlantic web site employed a bold, striking design comprised of blues and red. In addition, the web site offered key information such as details about the race, profiles of the crew, sponsor information and opportunities as well as contact information.
